# Get started with Lantern

> Sign in, find your workspace, and start reviewing inventory recommendations.

Lantern helps wholesale distributors plan inventory and purchasing. Use the app to review replenishment recommendations, understand demand, and manage the planning settings available to your team.

## Sign in

1. Go to [app.lanternhq.com](https://app.lanternhq.com).
2. Sign in using the method associated with your Lantern account. The sign-in page offers email and password, Google, and Microsoft.
3. Complete two-factor verification if prompted.
4. Open your dashboard. If you need an account or access to another company, contact your Lantern administrator or [support@lanternhq.com](mailto:support@lanternhq.com).

For password recovery, select **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page, enter your account email, and follow the reset instructions sent to you.

## Find your way around

The navigation shows the pages enabled for your company and account. Your workspace may include:

* **Priority Center** to focus your recommendation review.
* **Min/Max** or **Order/Line Points** to review replenishment settings by item and location.
* **Smart Lead Times** and **Smart Order Frequencies** to review planning inputs.
* **Item Links**, **Product Classification**, and **Safety Stock** to manage the available planning settings.
* **Performance** to explore the inventory insights available for your account.

Page names and available actions can vary by company and access level. If a page is missing, ask your administrator to confirm your access.

## Your first review

1. Open **Min/Max** or **Order/Line Points** from the navigation.
2. Find an item using its item ID or description.
3. Confirm the location and any active filters.
4. Compare the current values with Lantern's recommended values.
5. Review the item's demand and planning context before deciding what to change.

Start with a small set of familiar items. Follow your team's review and export process when applying recommendations.
